Pavictek Academy runs practical skills courses. With an active subscription you can take them inside Daabbo.
Start a course
- On the Home screen, tap Pavictek Academy.
- Pick a course to see what it covers and what it costs, then tap the button at the bottom to pay and enrol.
- Open a lesson, read or watch it, and tap Mark as complete to unlock the next one. Lessons open in order.
A course that says its lessons are still being added cannot be started yet.
Self-paced or a live cohort
Some courses can be taken two ways. Self-paced online starts today and you learn at your own speed. A live cohort is an intake with a start date and live classes with a tutor, online or in person. On a course page, pick how you want to learn, choose a cohort and how you will attend, and pay. Your lessons open when the cohort starts.
Live classes
Open Live classes on your course to see what is on now, what is coming and past classes with their recordings. A class opens 15 minutes before it starts: tap Join the class to open the meeting. Joining records that you attended. During a class you can chat with the class and raise your hand with a question. The class chat is shared with everyone in the class, and your name shows next to what you write.
Assignments
Open Assignments to read what your tutor has asked for, type your answer and hand it in. You can replace it until it has been marked. When it is marked you get a notification, with your score and your tutor's feedback.
Quizzes and exams
- Quizzes sit between lessons. Each has a pass mark and a limited number of attempts, shown before you start.
- Your answers are only saved when you submit, so finish an attempt in one go.
- Most questions are marked straight away. Written answers are marked by a tutor, and we send you a notification when the result is ready.
Badges and certificates
Finishing every lesson earns a completion badge. Passing the course's certification exam earns a certificate. Both are under My certificates, each with a number anyone can check on the Pavictek Academy website.
Prices and how to pay
Each course shows its price, with the discount you get as an Daabbo student already taken off. To pay:
- Open a course and tap Pay and enrol.
- Pay by card or bank transfer on the Academy's secure payment page, which opens inside the app.
- Your course opens by itself as soon as the payment is confirmed, and we send you a notification. A bank transfer can take a few minutes.
Payments go to Pavictek Academy, not to Daabbo, and your Daabbo subscription is separate. Your receipt is sent to your email address. Questions about a payment: academy@pavictek.com.
What is shared
When you enrol, Daabbo sends Pavictek Academy your full name (it is printed on your certificate) and an internal code for your account. When you pay for a course it also gets your email address and phone number, for your receipt. We never see your card or bank details, because you pay on the Academy's own page. We do not send your school or location. Your progress, results and payment record are kept by the Academy, and so are what you type in a live class chat and the assignments you hand in.
